I just added a searchable JavaScript database to the site. It will search this site using keywords. It supports exact phrases or multiple keywords and partial words. You can find the EDS Site Search link in the 'Links' area (on the navigation bar on the left side).

Imagine my surprise when I found out that Windows2000 does not come standard with "OCR A Extended" as it had with Win98 and Win95+. OCR A Ext. is a TrueType font I use almost exclusively for my headers and titles. So I packaged it up in a .ZIP and it is now available in the download section. It is a free font and you can find on several font resources on the web, so no copyright laws are being violated. Please DL this font if you do not have it, instructions are in the downloadable .ZIP file. Click [IMAGE] to view a .GIF image of what the font looks like.

Wow! I just went through almost every page on this site. I changed how the side navigation bar behaves as well as added several new sections onto the home page. All of the differences are subtle but very important. I resolved several formatting problems when you view the site on low-end monitors and added a download section to handle the font problem. The site backbone and structure is pretty much completed. Now all I have to do is flesh it out - add all the content.

I have added a few 'All Your Base' pages to the MISCELLANEOUS section. They deal the the history and details of the phrase and the others derived from the source. There is even a part that shows some screen-shots of the original game. Check it out.

New and Improved! Check out the new look on the Secure page. I made the form inline with respect to the page and added a login as well as a password entry. Plus! the password is 'starred' out so nobody can shoulder-surf to find out your password.

Yes, we are moving to a new host. We can now be found at [https://terrawarbride.tripod.com/] There were several reasons for this move. First, all those images and photo-albums on the Mayo Family Home Page [http://www.mayofamily.com/] were really beginning to add up and we were approaching our max size allowance. So I decided to move EDS, which had become a project quite a bit larger than I had intended. Second, I decided to move back to Tripod because of CGI capability and they seem to have upgraded their equipment. If they start being sllooowwww again, I will once more be on the lookout for a good host.

I did it! The script is crude, but finished and working. I put in a password protected page for all my sneaky wants, needs and desires. Not that I really need one, but how cool am I now? Yes, yes I know... I am now your idol, but don't make it so obvious.

Empire Data Systems site creation. This is the homepage for Robert L. Mayo. The site was originally located at http://mayofamily.50megs.com/ (site no longer exists) where is a part of the Mayo Family Home Page. The reason for this is simply that EDS is really only Robert's personal page.
