Never wake a sleeping dragon. Empire Data Systems - All Your Byte Are Belong To Us! Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

Welcome to the home page of Empire Data Systems. That is the rather grandeous name for my personal home page. 'My' referring to me, Robert L. Mayo.

So, what's a person supposed to put on their web site these days? The newest, fanciest Microsoft technology of the week? Lots of Java LED signs, JavaScript message boxes, and animated .GIFs that show I know what the latest web toys are? Personal information about myself, my life, and my belly-button fuzz collection that will maybe draw 5 hits a year?

For some reason, that just doesn't sound right. I have only been coding HTML and HTML-variants a short while and I'm still not quite sure... So until I figure it out, you'll find miscellaneous stuff on my web site. Things that are useful, things that are cool, things that are personal, and things you couldn't care less about. The cool thing is that you're here. For some reason. So take a look around before you leave. You just might find something you like...

Font information: Info alert...

This site uses two (2) core fonts to display information. Micro$oft-Windows2000, unlike Win95 and Win98, does not come standard with the TrueType font "OCR A Extended". If you do not have this font, please download it. It is in .ZIP format and comes with install instructions, it is very simple to install. The other core font I use is "Verdana". As far as I know, it comes with all versions of Windows. But both are available in the Downloads section. Both fonts are TrueType (TT) and thus are compatible with Linux/Unix (after a little work), but not Macs. Click [IMAGE] to view a .GIF image of what the font looks like, if the font of the title "Empire Data Systems" at the top of the page does not match the OCR A Ext. font, then the font is not installed on your computer.
